About

My name is Armani Bonilla. I am an artist who loves to both draw and paint.

Drawing, for me, started as a hobby that I would frequently use as my escape from the troubles of the real world when I was a kid. Ever since then, I had aspired to be great at drawing and, develop the tools to show my inner vision and amaze people with what I can do. Over time it became less of a hobby and more of something that I knew I would like to do for the rest of my life. Every time I draw, it puts me in a “Zen” state that makes me lose track of time and enjoy my drawing experiences to the fullest.

Typically, I take a look at what I am drawing and begin with analyzing where the first mark will be. From there, I attempt to make the drawing match my vision as close as possible to the best of my abilities. I have a rough yet inviting art style that utilizes a combination of various techniques and attracts people in to my work. I tend to use graphite and charcoal because of the various effects that can be achieved with both. However, I am also open to using other mediums and alternative process to achieve a new depth with color as opposed to simple black and white drawings.

Overall, I enjoy making my art, and I can’t wait to see what new experiences come next.
